Dr. Ribeiro graduated from the Medical School of Petrópolis (RJ) in 1984 and completed his residency in general surgery at the Souza Aguiar Hospital (RJ). He has graduate degree from the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York (USA) and is a professor of the medicine courses of Anhanguera-Uniderp University and the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul. He is a residency preceptor at the Santa Casa of Campo Grande, where he was clinical director (2001-2003). He is a civil servant of the Campo Grande municipal government and a general surgeon at the MS Regional Hospital. He was chair of CRM-MS (2005-2007) and has been regular federal council member since 2009, serving as first deputy chair in the 2014-2019 term. He was born in São Paulo (SP).
